During the concert

Concerts are usually 90 minutes of music with a 20 minute intermission.

Wondering what to wear? We invite you to dress in a manner that allows you to feel comfortable while enjoying a memorable outing with friends. There is no formal dress code—many guests choose cocktail or business casual attire, though all styles are welcome.

Above all, we encourage you to simply be yourself. Out of consideration for fellow patrons, we kindly request refraining from the use of scented products, including colognes and perfumes, as some members of our audience may have sensitivities or allergies.

When to Applaud?
We understand how moving and exhilarating the orchestra can be—it is natural to feel inspired to cheer, much like the enthusiastic audiences of centuries past.

Today, however, concert tradition invites listeners to hold their applause until the conclusion of the entire work, rather than between movements, so as not to miss the subtle transitions that connect the music. Maestro Golka may at times highlight particular moments to listen for, and these are often best appreciated in uninterrupted silence.

At the close of the performance, we warmly encourage you to show your appreciation with heartfelt applause—even a standing ovation—as the music and musicians truly deserve.

TCourtesy Reminder
To ensure the enjoyment of all audience members, we kindly request that all electronic devices be silenced prior to the performance. Additionally, the use of flash photography is strictly prohibited.
